Mould Treatment & Painting

Overview

Bathrooms and other damp-prone rooms can develop mould on ceilings and walls. Painting straight over it does not last, so the surface needs treating and preparing first.

These photographs show a shower room ceiling before treatment and after it was treated and repainted.

Our own work. The photographs on this page show work carried out by GROUNDWRKS.

What the work involves

Work of this kind includes cleaning and treating affected surfaces, preparing and sealing them, and repainting with a suitable moisture- and mould-resistant finish.

Where mould is being caused by a ventilation or damp problem, we will point this out so that it can be addressed, as treatment and paint alone may not stop it coming back.
